Gina Tan, Principal

Prior to founding Tangible Strategies in 2006, Gina Tan was Director of Membership and Annual Fund for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco for eight years where she managed the opening campaigns and the public phase of the Capital Campaign for the de Young Museum from its closure in 2000 to its reopening in 2005. The results included more than 45,000 new and rejoined members as well as more than 4,000 donors to the public phase of the Capital Campaign.  Prior to her tenure at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, she managed the membership programs of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, and the Pacific Asia Museum.

Gina is a frequent speaker at national and international membership conferences and has assisted in programming for the American Art Museum Membership Managers Conference. She hosted the conference in 1998 and 2006 as Director of Membership at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco.

She is the conference organizer for the International Museum Membership Conference  in London (2015) and Edinburgh (2016). The 3rd International Museum Membership Conference will be held in Amsterdam on April 2018.
